On October 14, 2023, audaCITY marked its official launch in Baltimore, hosting an event that unveiled the brand and its mission. Partnering with the locally revered Nubian Hueman, a store committed to supporting and selling products from black and brown-owned businesses, the event became a platform to showcase audaCITY's dedication to promoting local black artists.

In October 2023, audaCITY launched its inaugural Pop-Up tour at Nubian Hueman in Baltimore, MD, uniting 15 remarkable black-owned businesses across various artistic realms. From dancers to poets, film directors to singers, our event was a celebration of Baltimore's diverse artistic landscape.

Spotlighting three exceptional artists, our intimate audience was treated to an unforgettable experience. Nndi, a soulful singer-songwriter hailing from the DMV, graced us with her original track "All Woman," a collaboration with GLOW Records. Diana and Charles captivated with a dynamic dance routine to Rihanna's "Lift Me Up," adding depth and diversity to our gathering. And Tyce, a beloved Baltimore poet, shared his poignant reflections on fatherhood and black life through two stirring original poems.

Of course, no event is complete without delicious fare. Angel Soul Food & Catering, along with Extraordinary Funnel Cakes, tantalized our taste buds with homely delights and sweet, crispy treats, ensuring our guests left inspired and satiated.

This event was more than a success—it underscored the vital need for collaborative spaces where black businesses and the arts can thrive together. Join us in celebrating the power of creativity and community in Baltimore and beyond.
